Mixed-Use Development – Brunei

Terunjing Industrial Park (TIP) is a 95-hectare, state-owned industrial park located only 8 kilometers from the Brunei International Airport with easy connection to the national capital city, Bandar Seri Begawan.  Terunjing iCity is envisioned as a new model as a strategical alternative to diversification of the national economy from heavy reliance on petroleum and natural gas exports.  This conceptual master planning proposal is meant to creatively showcase the reinvention of an underutilized industrial park area with a vibrant mixture of land uses to offer a unique duty-free shopping /entertainment destination in addition to a hybrid employment centre that would include bonded warehouse district, R & D office campus and sea/air logistics hub.
