The proposed PusatTransit Mahakam, located next to “MRT Station Blok M BCA” in South Jakarta, Indonesia, was part of a feasibility study report submission to Pt Integrasi Transit Jakarta to propose a Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) model development to a densely populated MRT station along the Jakarta Metro North-South Line. The design objective was to create a new green and sustainable mixed-used building typology by creating an iconic service center building structure to provide essential services for MRT passengers while operating it as a convenient transit hub to the adjacent metro station neighborhoods. Transit users and locals can co-share the adjacent Taman Mahakam as an urban sanctuary amidst of a densely populated area.
