Bolshovyk Redevelopment Project, located on a prime urban site that was once operated as a heavy machinery factory near the city center of Kiev in Ukraine, was an urban renewal opportunity created by a mandated state-owned enterprise privatization process. The project aim was to create a green and sustainable urban lifestyle destination based on the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) principles with easy connection to its adjacent Metro Station and the vast network of public transit system. The project was to create an integrated landmark mixed-use hub of regional retail commercial, entertainment, residential and office employment uses. This development feasibility study provided a solid base for an internal project evaluation process.
